3. Booking Policy

3.1 Reservations can be made directly through our website, by phone, or through authorised travel partners.

3.3 A booking will be confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment as communicated at the time of reservation.

3.4 Guests are required to provide valid identification at check-in as per government regulations

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellations must be made in writing via email or through the booking platform used.

4.2 Standard cancellation terms:

* More than 15 days before check-in: Full refund of advance payment

* 8 to 14 days before check-in: 50 percent refund of advance payment

* 7 days or less before check-in: No refund

  4.3 No refunds will be made for early check-outs or no-shows.

  4.4 In the event of natural disasters, political unrest, or unforeseen operational issues, the resort reserves the right to cancel bookings and offer alternate dates or refunds.

5. Inclusions

5.1 Room tariffs include accommodation and the specific meal plan confirmed at the time of booking.

5.2 Any additional services, such as extra meals, activities, or transport, will be charged separately.

5.3 Taxes are applicable as per prevailing government regulations unless otherwise stated.

6. Child Policy

6.1 Children up to 5 years stay free when sharing a room with parents without an extra bed.

6.2 Children aged 6 to 11 years will be charged a child rate for accommodation and meals.

6.3 Children aged 12 years and above will be charged as adults.

6.4 Extra beds or cots are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

7. Right to Admission Reserved

7.1 The management reserves the right to refuse entry or service to any person in cases including but not limited to:

* Non-compliance with resort rules and regulations

* Disorderly or inappropriate behaviour

* Failure to provide valid identification or booking confirmation

  7.2 Guests are expected to maintain decorum and respect the privacy and comfort of other guests.

8. Liability

8.1 While we take care to provide a safe and comfortable environment, Shampan Resort is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

8.2 Guests are responsible for their own safety during activities, including safaris and excursions booked through or recommended by the resort.

8.3 Any damage caused to resort property by guests will be chargeable.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of bookings, services, or use of the website will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the **District Magistrate’s Court at Alipurduar, West Bengal**.
